Larimar may be new to you, but we have been searching it out, mining, and finishing this rarity for over ten years. Discovered in 1974, Larimar is found in only one location on earth: a volcanic mountain in the Caribbean. At Larimar Mines, we finish and mount the Larimar stones in gold and silver settings of custom design in our own workshops - many pieces are one of a kind. Larimar’s natural color and shape determine how we design the piece, for no two Larimar stones are identical.
